SPOILERS TO PMD2!!! >0< NUUUUU.
Well...so those who have played PMD2, after you have defeated Primal Daialga, the hero/heronie of the game dissapears along with the rest of the ohter Pokemon from the future. Tommy and Nero are the main characters of my PMDEOT. ( Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time )
Tommy and Nero deateated Daialga and saved the world from the planet's paralysis.(sp?) Of course, Tommy dissapears and Nero is heartbroken, because Nero had great feelings for Tommy that she never knew about, and he never confessed his love for her at all.

This is probably the only game that has ever driven me to tears. And it was a pokemon game that did it.
